I found Lille Ammnn blog to be very helpful. Lille dropped knowledge on her viewers by giving tips on how to better editing your own work. She mentions good writing is a must if you want to get a point across, for example to sell something to a company. I took away three main tips that I will try to work on daily. The first one is to "remember that writing comes before editing." This mean that she doesn't want to you to worry about making every sentence perfect. Write down and go back to correct is the best method she points out. The next tip is "to read the work aloud." You will be shocked how reading a sentence out loud can help correct a sentence. She mentions to find someone to read your work so you can here another voices perspective. The last tip is to "get another qualified opinion." If you can get an editor or teacher to go over the piece with you, it can be very beneficial. This is a wonderful blog, I am going to start recommending it to people on facebook and twitter. I hope to be an almost error proof journalist in a couple of years.
